Annascaul is a vibrant village in the Dingle Peninsula, located a few kilometres inland from Inch beach and its nearby village, surrounded by lush valleys, farmland and stunning mountain scenery.
The Dingle Way, the Kerry Camino and many more walking and hiking routes nearby give walkers the opportunity to explore the hidden gems of the areas around Annascaul and Inch. Annascaul village is also the birthplace of the great Antarctic explorer, Tom Crean, and in nearby Tralee, you can find out about his heroic exploration of the Antarctic at the Kerry County Museum.

Back to Top of List- The Dingle Way walking route passes directly through Annascaul village. There are a number of shorter looped routes such as the Meelin Hill Loop connected to the Dingle Way, with routes available on the Kerry Trails Map.
- Inch beach is a fantastic location for walks and family days out - it's a blue flag beach with a beach cafe and a number of restaurants close by.
- The Kerry Camino is an initiative to promote walking along the Dingle Way between Tralee and Dingle, and an annual guided walk is hosted each May.

Back to Top of List- Inch beach is a must-stop for all visitors to Kerry, and located close to Annascaul. It is a blue flag beach, with a beach cafe, and a very popular place all year round.
- The Inch beach Parkrun takes place each Saturday morning - it's a free, fun and friendly event where you can walk, run or watch the fun.
- Minard beach is a quieter beach, where you can see the ruins of Minard Castle, perfect for a peaceful walk!
